does dealer write teh description?

I purchased a car from a dealer based on description on Car Guru. I come to find out that several of the options listed on Car guru are not on the car.
The dealer tells me they don't write the car guru description.
Is that true?

a lot of features come up with the vin number automatically

Unfortunately this happens often. This is why some lenders will verify features with you. Dealers receives more money that way.....
