I have had the same issue. I have been resetting the black brake module by unplugging it but it always comes back. Did you ever resolve your issue? Thanks.
Mine too....mine is 8 short and 9th long
My parking brake light flashes 8 times n then stays lit for some seconds on the ninth blink
