Common problems associated with the Service Engine Soon light?

Asked by nakamuraortho Apr 13, 2014 at 07:42 PM about the 2003 INFINITI G35 Coupe RWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2003 G35 Sports Coupe with a manual transmission.  Approximately 50,000 miles on it.  I am the original owner.  The Service Engine Soon light recently came on.  Owners Manual says its commonly due to an improperly tightened fuel cap.  Or it may be a sign of problems associated with the Emissions System.  Any ideas?

There is also a recommended scheduled maintenance at 52,500 for your model.typically you would have the dealer inspect it or you can do it yourseld and reset the light. http://x.infinitihelp.com/forum/maintenance.php
