04 Infiniti g35 won’t start

I left my home to make a 20 minute trip and
my car started and left my neighborhood with
no problem until about 5 minutes down the
road I noticed I was giving it gas but it
wouldn’t accelerate. Then it would drop gears
and go? But the car would move slowly
afterwards and wouldn’t take gas again. I
pulled over and turned the car off but it
wouldn’t turn back on, the dash lights would
flicker and I’d hear a click but it would no
longer start. I dont Know anything about cars.
Any advise?

Scan it for check engine codes, that will at least give u an idea where the problem is.
