Radio replacement

I have a radio from a 2010 mazda cx9 grand
touring and i was hoping to put it into my 2010 cx9
gs.

Most likely the 2019 stereo is integrated into the cars electronics systems. Removing it could cause a lot of problems. Do more research before ripping it out.

Did you ever get an answer to this? I have a 2015 CX9 which has no GPS or Satellite radio....I would like to swap it for one from a salvage yard which DOES have GPS and Satellite. Is this possible and, if so, what else needs to be done besides swapping the radio?
