I turn a 1300 engine into an injector engine into a 1996 Hyundai, but it wont start, there is no current to the coil pack or gas pump, what could be the cause?

I turn a 1300 engine into a injector engine, but it wont start, there is no current in the coil pack or gas pump, what could be the cause of that?

it turns over ok but just wont start a friend of mine say because i use the 1300 block it wont work but he wont tell me why i drilled the block and fit the crankshaft sensor and every tin like the 1500 but still nothing

you didn't....the "drillings" would go right into the crankcase....unless someone used a shop vac while drilling....what was wrong with using the proper one? perhaps this sensor has slightly different characteristics....is there any way we can put the proper one back in?~
