Recently got a 2000 Focus ZX3 body with a
hydralocked engine. The engine was removed but
looking to find best swap options that are
compatible with this car. Any suggestions?

The easiest option is to replace it with the same engine size and type. Any other type of engine may require lots of modifications such as engine mounts, exhaust system, etc.
