did a motor swap and the car turns over but wont start,,,,could you possibly tell
me what i need to check  to get it to fire and start

First. Use an analyzer to check for engine codes. Second. Check the fuel supply. Get someone to turn key to on position while you listen at an open petrol tank. You should hear the pump kick in.
