2005 Hyundai Tuscon with 4 cylinder manual trans

Asked by Larry59mercedes Dec 10, 2008 at 12:10 AM about the 2005 Hyundai Tucson GLS 4WD

Question type: General

Does anyone have the tuscon 4WD with manual transmission?  Is it a gutless wonder, or does it have decent pep?  Also, does anyone have an opinion on the 6 cylinder Tuscon AWD?  Thanks for your feedback!

I have an '08 Tucson with the V6 and AWD. I actually really like it. It's got pretty decent acceleration (I previously have only had small 4 cylinder cars and it's got a lot more pep to it), and the mileage is pretty good. I live somehwere with lots of snow in the winter, and it's got fantastic traction. I love taking off when the light turns green like it's practically dry pavement and everyone else at the light is still spinning tires trying to get started.
