Hi can i Put 16'' rims on the front and 17'' rims on the back of my 2005
Pontiac Montana SV6, I current have 17'' rims with all seasons on and i have
snow tires for 16'' rims but unfortunately only have two 16'' rims can i put the
16'' on the front and leave the 17'' on the back or will this cause damage to
my Van?

If it is AWD then definitely not as you will damage the AWD system. Mixing tire sizes and types is really not a safe idea.
