About check engine light on 2005 Hyundai Accent car sputters and runs rough

Asked by JoeySam Jan 02, 2019 at 04:32 PM about the 2005 Hyundai Accent GT 2-Door Hatchback FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

If you are having a problem where your car
sputters and runs rough and also check engine
light blinks. It is the alternator. A lot of mechanics
and computers will say that it is the coil pack and
wires, but the alternators are actually going bad
and also this causes the coil pack and wires to
burn out. This seems to be a common problem for
these cars.
