Why is Nissan getting away with a mileage cap on the CVT transmission?

I have a 2009 Nissan Altima a year ago it just stopped moving right in the road.
I called mechanics, dealership I bought it from to no avail. NO ONE would look
at my car nor fix it. All said it was the transmission by what I described.  I
emailed Nissan several times, I even called.. Recently I was able to get a local
dealership to do full diagnostic and the confirmed it was the CVT transmission.
But due to the milage cut off  Nissan will no fix my car. I bought it used with
97097 miles now it has 161,000.  I am paying my car loan every month For I
cant even drive?  Any help is most appreciate

No of course not. But the Manufacturer should at least be responsible for the CVT transmission. I bought the car through a dealership have a car loan I have put less than 100,000 miles on it since I got it. Nissan knows this is a faulty transmission, and there is NO mechanic within a 280 miles radius of me who would fix it

A 11 year old car with high miles is not going to have warranty coverage. You replace CVT's, not repair them. Even the best automatic transmission from another manufacturer would probably fail before 161,000 miles. You are actually quite lucky to get that many miles out of your transmission.
