15 accent transmission

Asked by Boeingtrijet Nov 21, 2019 at 12:45 PM about the 2015 Hyundai Accent GL 4-Door Hatchback FWD

in replacing the transmission how far should the torque converter back from the
edge of the bell housing. Mine i over lapping the flex plate arms preventing the
torque from lining up withe the flex plate holes. 4 mechanics and 2 transmission
guys think it's back as far as it can go . We are stomped. HELP!

I found out ether the factory or someone who had the engine out put the flex plate on backwards. The torque converters do not go back into the bell housing very far. This is what wiped out my original transmission..
