Cabin pressure?

Asked by GuruSS6GD Jul 25, 2019 at 06:51 AM about the 2010 Hyundai Accent GL Sedan FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Does this make sense, I noticed today that I have to slam car door much harder
to close when AC is working & blower at high speed as well as when all
windows are closed. This only happens when fresh air intake is on. The
problem goes away when I open window then close the door. If it is a pressure
stuff, isn't there cabin vents supposed to take the pressure away, thanks

Certainly makes sense if all the windows are closed and the fan is on high (it is pushing air from outside into the cabin). Cars are made to be air tight (not completely) to decrease road noise when driving. I don't think this is something you should worry about.
