AC fan under hood start run after 5 second engine start and don't stop on 2004

check your coolant temp make sure it is not going over 90 degrees. this also may just be the temp sensor acting up. can't hurt to replace it and see if it stops. other wise i would say the fan has a short some where and is causing it to stay on likely a defect in the fan it self from over the years.
