Location of fuel pump

I looked at online automotive parts book, the fuel pump is mechanical. i also looked up your carb in parts book. Note the carb picture, See the brass fitting, that is where the fuel line attaches, follow the fuel line, should go to fuel pump. If this info is wrong, then, my bad.

Yes, the 305 V8 engine found in the MC SS, the fuel pump is located on the lower side of the engine on the passenger side.
