Question type: Shopping & Pricing

I am working on a quote with a dealership and they
are charging Dealer and handeling fees of $499. But
in the small print on the Carguru add it says price
includes $499 D&H. Is this right?

I would tell the dealership to take their dealer and handling fees of $499 and shove them up their you know what. I generally don't pay those fees, I negotiate a deal and when it comes time to pay I tell them I am not going to pay the extra fee. Then they have the choice of selling me the vehicle with an additional discount to cover the fees or I walk out the door. This works in many dealerships, but not all. $499 is ridiculous!
