Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Dodge  mechanic said that the Dodge Dart
uses oil to lube the intake valves and will use
appropriately one quart per 1,000 miles. Has
anyone else heard of this?

1 Answer

Patented BS. All cars will use a minuscule amount of oil to lube the valves but not that much.
