I would like to know if / and how to get a dealer to program the computer to engage the Daylight Running Lights?

Asked by chipper03 Jun 16, 2016 at 01:02 PM about the 2015 RAM 1500 Tradesman Quad Cab 4WD

Question type: General

I have read that the RAM 1500 (not sure about 2015) has the ability to have the Daytime Running Light feature programed into the vehicle by a dealer. It seems the dealers do not know how or where to look for the codes to engage this. Went through this 3 times to get the dealer to engage the tow display until I found the exact way to do it and show them the steps. Ideally would like step by instructions to show them as this is not covered under the warranty.

I would contact the dealer and if they don't know, try a different dealer.
