I do not have any daytime instrument panel lights on my recently purchased 2015 Toyota Rav4 XLE. A lot of the time I cannot see the gauges in there. Dealer says there are none. I cannot believe this.
I am 99% sure it should. Toyota has done some cost-cutting, the new Corollas don't even have cruise control, or dusk sensing auto headlights. And the original Rav4 was built on a Corolla platform. But I know some guys, and if you check back here later today or tomorrow I can clear that 1%.
Well I'll be dipped. I contacted a friend that has a 2015 Rav4 and he said no, not unless the headlights or parking/running lights are on. He does not like the dark cluster either.. so much for my 99%. Like I say, Toyota has done some cost cutting but this is bad, drop that much money on an otherwise very good car, Crossover, and not have that. Even my 2006 Corolla lights up in daytime
