2015 nissan altima brake pad

How do I know if I need to change the brake pad?Does the dashboard of this
car have an alarm light when the brake pads are worn out?

No you do not have a light on the dash. Visual inspection is the best. If you hear squeaking noise when driving or hitting the brakes then they are bad. Best you can do is that your front tires off and look at the pads if they are thin (less then half inch thick) then they are going or gone bad
