It's a brand new Chevy Volt!! We don't know anything about electric cars!! We are Car Gurus not Car Magicians- when you bought that thing, you committed to having the dealer handle EVERYTHING- FOREVER- have a nice day-

jamnblues is right. The good news is its a new car and has a complete warranty. Go see your dealer, they'll look after it. (I'm envious by the way, They are awesome cars and far exceed performance and reliability expectations for most people.)
