Bottom line price on a 2015 Chevy Equinox LT1 with V6?
I've researched ad nauseam and am more confused than ever. So.. what's the basement bottom dollar price I could get on a new 2015 Chevy Equinox LT with a V6? I saw posted on one dealership's sight $22,055 down from an MSRP of $29,815. I really don't want to go more than $20,000. Is it possible or is that a pipe dream to get it for $19-20,500 tops?
I've looked everywhere for 2014's and seems no one has any, which I find hard to believe. As far as invoice minus rebates, I'm finding it near impossible to find out the true invoice price since there is so much wiggle room between invoice and MSRP pricing on options, ex. According to what I can find out the invoice for the car is $25,736. There must be a boat load of incentives for them to be asking 22,055. So that makes me wonder if there would be any more wiggle room to try to have them come down. I've thought about a CPO car, but if I have to negotiate to get even a reasonable price on one, I might as well try for a new car! It's ridiculous what they're wanting for used cars. You can get a new one for below what they want for a used one it seems!
