Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Does the fuel filter cause my truck not
to start. I put $15 worth of gas in it
because it wouldn't start, and my fuel
pump does come on when I turn the
key

I often have the same problem with my 98 suburban c1500. I have found that if I keep the ignition switch turned over all the way in the starting position for a few mins it will start. It has gotten to take up to 10 mins holding the switch turned over.
