Does 2015 Subaru Forester burn oil

All Subaru boxer engines are known to burn a bit of oil due to their setup

My 15 did from new. I am now on my third engine which uses a quart every 2,500 to 3,000 miles.

Consumption will be reduced by switching from the North American 0w20 spec to the international 5w30, which will simply maintain viscosity at operating temperature better, lessening passage through the rings...even "normal" good ones.

I go through oil like no bodies business so I went to the dealer and got an oil consumption test.

Switch to 5w30.
