Do I need tire pressure sensors in aftermarket wheels

Question type: Car Customization

I want to get aftermarket wheels for my car, do I need the
tpms sensors, or can I live without them? Will not having
them do anything other than trip the light?

The light will be on all the time but that should be it. If your state has safety inspections you will probably fail.
