2014 Prius Battery failing

Asked by Shawn Nov 29, 2015 at 11:34 AM about the 2014 Toyota Prius Four

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Our 2014 Prius 4's battery dies after being parked at the airport for 4 days (We
live in Portland where the temps are mild).  This has happened 3 times in the
last couple months.  Has anyone else had this problem?

You're talking about the auxiliary battery that starts the car, correct? I think that you may have a short or electrical problem that is killing off the battery. Your car is still under warranty? Take it to the dealer.

I took it to the dealer initially and they said that we must have left it on after running the computer diagnostics (which found nothing). We did not leave the ingnition on so I was thinking something else was going on. Having a potential short is definately a possibility and I will express that. Thank you for taking the time to answer my question.
