Stalling 2014 Chevy equinox

Asked by GuruT6TP3 Jul 18, 2018 at 12:03 AM about the 2014 Chevrolet Equinox 2LT AWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have been struggling for the past week with my 2014
Chevy equinox at 63,500 miles. It wants to stall out every
time I come to stop or try to reverse. I have been throwing
it in neutral to get around while stopped. Looks like a lot
of people have this problem. Took it to the dealership and
they want me to pay 850 for a new engine control module
because they say it is the computer going out. I say it is
them trying to take my money. Please help.

I hope you see this. I have a 2014 Chevrolet Equinox and I thought my P00011 sensor needed to be replaced... but when I took it to Chevrolet they found out it was my intake agitator that wasn't working correctly. It is still under POWERTRAIN warranty... you should be too, if you haven't reached 100,000 miles. Let Cheverlot fix your car free of charge!
