I need to replace the Motor in My 07 crown Vic Police . Can I use a motor from an 08?

Some of the bolt ons like the compressor may not fit for example on that type of a job. Make sure the modifications can be made and yes the computer goes with the engine and each time you disconnect or depleat a battery, the computer needs to be reset for the idle adjustment and the shift timing. There is a procedure for this - that will be the last thing you do before you drive it.

engine will work. no need to swap computer due to civilian cars have pats that will be different.
