the idle on my 2003 ford tauras ses is all messed up. Replaced the iac and some sensor. And the alternater. It's better, but it stalls out when I'm at a red light. Gotta put it in neutral and rev the gas to prevent this. Stressfull driving. Won't pass inspection in January. Any thoughts on this? Greatly appreciated.

Did your mechanic do a hard ECM reset after the repairs? Has he cleaned the throttle body? That does sound like a vacuum leak but you should be getting a code.
