Horn sounds without touching the button

Asked by Guru992KP2 Oct 17, 2020 at 04:37 PM about the 1931 Ford Model A Coupe

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Why does the horn keep blowing? Especially
when I use the light switch. I have to push
hard on the outer ring of the horn button
assembly to stop the horn from blowing.

You'll have to take the cover to the horn switch off, there is contact being made when it shouldn't. Check the clearances.

If my truck has really black stuff on the sparkplugs Is that the carburator or to much gas going in at once. Now when I try and start it it will almost start but it's jumping like it never ran. What should I do?
