Antifreeze

Asked by Guru99PGQ Oct 20, 2019 at 03:31 PM about the 1928 Ford Model A Coupe

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Should you add antifreeze to the cooling system of the 1928 Ford Model A.  I've
read both yes and no and would like to know what the true answer is.  Does
antifreeze do anything for the early Ford Model A?

1 Answer

If the car is stored in freezing temperatures you need antifreeze. If not you could use water and an anti rust additive. Water Wetter will help reduce corrosion and the operating temperatures.
