Is the battery light on? It could be an alternator or battery slowly going bad that can’t hold a charge. I would take the battery to autozone or advanced auto parts to have it checked. If it’s bad, that’s your problem, it’s it’s still good, then the alternator is most like my the problem. An engine problem would not require a jumpstart to have it working again. There could be another reason why it’s turning off but start off with the alternator and battery

Also replacing an alternator is pretty easy on most cars, all you have to do is release the serpetine belt, unbolt the alternator, and replace with a new one, there’s many tutorials online

4 days at the dealership and they say they can't find anything wrong. I don't think they worked very hard to check all that needed to be checked.

We are having similar issue specially if the vehicle is cold. We start the heater, this will cool the engine temp and it shut off after 10 minutes. Looking also for answers.
