Will a 84 mitsubishi match parts with a 86 2.6 engine such as distrbuter starter plugs etc.

I have a 84 Mitsubishi 2.6 and bought
another engine but they sent me a 86 2.6
will the parts be interchangeble

No it won't the intake manifold is configured differnt so the distributed won't go in and fuel pump will not fit
