Bleeder screw may also be clogged. Clean bleeder screw and blow in end of it if can not blow through clean with paper clip like Kelly mentioned cleaning out the caliper hole or just replace bleeder screws.

The rear calipers of our 1985 (first year for anti-loc) to 1992 Lincoln Mark VIIs are bled mechanically. If ANY of these steps fail, the step must be addressed and corrected BEFORE proceeding to the next step. Start with a closed system. Verify that the system reservoir is properly filled. Turn the key to run (not start) and verify that the brake system pump works. Turn the key to off. Manually pump the pedal 20 times to relieve pressure. Open rear bleeder valve. Turn key to run. Maintain a constant brake fluid level in the reservoir until clear fluid exits the bleeder. Close the bleeder.
