Nissan Armada jump start

Asked by Kulbrz1 Aug 09, 2020 at 11:59 AM about the 2013 Nissan Armada SV 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My daughter's Armada battery died after the dome light was left on. She had
some one like AAA come & jump the battery. Since then the 4wd, airbag, & two
other caution dash lights remain on after starting the truck. they changed the
battery & same thing. Does the computer need reprogrammed or it shorted it
out?

Pull the batter cables off and touch them together and let it sit for a couple of mins then re attatch the cables and see if that resets the pcm.

i did as you said, no help; the Airbag, Traction, 4wd & ABS lights remain on while running. Drives okay & seems to be in 2wd even though the 4wd light is on.

Maybe it blew a fuse or something, im not to familiar with Nissan. Id definitely check all the fuses.

I know chevys have an issue with the 4wd switch. I dont know why a dead battery and a jump would cause that. Have you checked it for trouble codes?
