2011 Mitsubishi Endeavor skipping

Asked by TheRansomgang May 30, 2018 at 10:18 PM about the 2011 Mitsubishi Endeavor LS AWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2011 Mitsubishi Endeavor. When I reach
about 40 mph it jumps, skips or jerks whatever you
would call it. It only does it around that speed. So
many people have told me different things to check
. I bought some posi tract additive for rear end gear
chatter slippage. Where do I add it or so I need to
not add it? That is the next step to try I guess.
Anyone got any info on this?

No check engine lights itcdoesnt feel like the engine. It feels more like underneath. Maybe the wheels have brake on or something. So it jumps. It only does it when around 40 mph. Other than that you wouldnt know it. But it is anoyying

Sounds like the torque converter is shuttering, trying to go into lock up,that would be the right speed.Does it feel like a shutter?
