I come back out of the store or whatever and it acts like it's being flooded out. It sputters and dies horribly. It's the 2.9 liter v6. Once it is fully warmed up it runs great

Thank you. I'll try the sensor. As for pulling codes, I am unfamiliar with this. I'm a longtime dyi backyard mechanic that fixes problems through process of elimination. If it involves a "brain box" I avoid it. haha

i have a 1985 bronco ii and when i start it it makes a grinding noise just when i go to start it. when it runs it is fine. We pulled the starter and checked the flywheel and you can see where it is nicked but im not missing any teeth. the starter had shavings in it. Replaced the starter once it was fine for the first couple starts then sttarted grinding again. any sugjestions? 3 Answers
