1997 dodge dakota head lights will not shut off

suddenly my headlights have decided they will not shut off, the marker lights shut off with the switch but the daytime lights stay on.The blue high beem light stays on also regardless of the position of the dimmer switch or headlight switch.Disconnecting the battery is the only way to shut them off

how did you fix your headlight problem!!! I am having the same problem
