2000 dodge neon es making. Clicking sound

Got a 2000 neon right at 80 thousand miles,
starting to hear clicking sound when
accelerating, . Sounds like some kinda worn
belt, any Ideas I'm leaving for a 1500 mile
trip, like now I Ned to know if I need to fix
this first

Yes this should be looked at before you go. Hard to say exactly where the clicking is coming from but what needs to be looked at would be the serpentine belt, pulleys, and belt tensioner. Another source the clicking could come from would be in the front axles cv joints, or the wheel bearings. Best have this looked at as these things could leave you stranded.
