Subaru Outback noise, assuming heater unit.
2013 outback bought new, 90k+ miles on it. Since
last wintry have experienced starting problems,
subaru dealer shop says computer needed update.
No difference. In facthe noticed today it outright
stalled dead during starting...then started. That's
one issue. The other is whethe the key is on aux or
just shut off... there is noise. I first assumed it
souneed like the old retractable antenna motor
sound. But this sounds like a valve that is
constantly trying to open/close. Switching from
floor and defrost does change the sound and
seems to stop.. mostly. Could use some advice.
Hate to spend a boat load and go that ecm marry
go round...
