misses on start up but no check engine light is on. once started for a few minutes it settles down and when you shut it off for 15 minutes it misses again when you start it.

Time for a tune up? And start running some fuel injection cleaner there the gas.

If your tune up is recent ,,, you should check fuel pressure at rest. In other words the fuel pump pressure should not drop more than 5psi in the first five minutes after energizing the pump with two key cycles. I suspect the fuel pump is allowing the fuel rail to drain off. or it may be a bad fuel regulator...
