Will that make the wrench light come on

I had a control module install on my 2013
Ford Explorer Xlt. When they install it they put
a 4x4 control module and the SUV is a 2x4.
When they did that the the wrench light
comes on. Do you think that the problem?

I have a Dodge ram 5.9 gas truck I replaced my transmission and when I did I used the notches on the flex plate to turn the crankshaft to put the four bolts in the flywheel a burred the notches on the flex plate an had to grind them down so the crank shaft sensor would pass by the notches did I do wrong by doing that now it want crank
