I'm buying an 04 Honda Odyssey @ 95,000 miles.
I'm concerned that the timing belt and water pump
is due to be serviced. When should i have this
serviced, and how much should I expect to pay?

The service manual states service interval is 150K and then every 80K after that. That does depend on how the car was treated. If you have a mechanic friend bring him along to inspect the engine, he/she might be able to detect any signs of abuse.
