2012 honda pilot recall

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a '12 pilot that had to have the piston rings
replaced due to a recall.  Now I need a timing belt.
(133000k miles) on this vehicle, does the timing
belt typically get replaced during a ring
replacement? As in does the front of the motor
need to come off too get the heads off?  I'm
curious of the dealership should have poor a new
timing belt on when they were doing the recall
service?

Thanks. They didn't call but I'm surprised they didn't since it was an easy sell for them. The car was 20k miles overdue for the timing belt change when they had it. Thanks shin for your insight.
