my objective is to reset the computer because the so called learned transmission is not learning my driving style at all. So I am reading that unhooking the battery will reset this.

yeah they just saw the car for the shifting issue this past monday hopefully they will remember. Thanks for your help

I went to the mechanic who changed the ERG valve in and reset the code. He said its a generic code and he couldn't do anything else. I went to the toyota dealer who said they would have to change the vavle again since that's the code!!! the smog shop couldn't help they don't give detailed info on 2000 and above vehicles.
