I know its hard to see and feel the gasket while installing but it sounds like the gaskets slipped out a little or too much metal scraped off the housings mating surface on the engine while taking off the old gasket possible. There should not be any grooves cut into the two mating surfaces or coolant will find its way out.

Be sure its not coming (leak) from the head or intake gaskets or from the hose itself or the hose is not one tight enough or down far enough on the hose nipple.
