why would door ding when
put key in ignition but no
dash lights no.radio will not
crank at all nothing

Try a jump start in case your battery is really low.

we put a whole nother battery in the car still nothing only door dinger no lights radio nothing and steering wheel wont lock either

You have an electrical issue for sure. Have the car towed to a garage. finding an electrical short and or problems are hard for even the best mechanics. Even tougher where to tell you to look from an online forum.
