You need a new ECM. When they're going out, they can't take the heat that's coming from the engine. It's known to happen on Jeeps, Dodges, and Chryslers.

Sometimes it will start right away the other time may take 15 to 20 minutes before it will start

Check your fuel filter first those cars if you have an old fuel filter a lot of times as you’re driving in slashing fuel Around if there’s trash you can clog your filter up when driving then when you sit for a little bit the dirt settles back at the bottom of the fuel filter and you’re able to start your car again I’ve seen this a lot of times I would check it first or just replace it it’s pretty easy

I would first scan for codes. A common problem on this engine is failure of the crankshaft position sensor, code P0320. I think this model will self scan. Turn the ignition key from Off to On three times, quickly, without starting the engine. Stop at "On". The codes will show at the odometer display. When it's done, it will show "done".
