2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4 by 4 limited edition for some reason when I go turn it in 4 wheel drive the lever on the dash it says service 4 wheel drive for some reason its not kicking in any ideas

There is a recall on this issue. Temp fix is to pull fuse 25, drive for 10 minutes, put fuse back in while running. TURN engine off, then start back up. Everything should work fine now. I did it on mine and it worked. Have not done the recall yet.
